Dan Hyde attended South Dakota State University earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing. He later attended Idaho State University and received a master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner. Dan worked in McCall, Idaho at a private family medicine clinic for seven years before moving to Silverton. Dan has previously worked in the area at Legacy Mt. Angel Family Medicine where he served the greater Mt. Angel area for fourteen years.
Meet the Guy
Dan Hyde grew up in Bend, Oregon but has been living in Silverton since 2009. Prior to his advanced degree he worked as a pediatric and emergency department nurse. He has been a family nurse practitioner for over 20 years and specifically enjoys internal medicine. He enjoys running, hiking, backpacking and fly fishing. He is busy with his three daughters who are active collegiate athletes. You can find him volunteering Saturdays at the Oregon Humane Society or traveling to see one of his daughter’s athletic events.
